Having established strong executive sponsorship and strategic alignment during the initial enablement phase, the focus shifted to operationalising AI at scale through a rigorous, secure, and phased rollout of Claude for Teams / Enterprise.
The Scope: Enterprise-Grade Deployment and Activation
The deployment project encompassed the complete technical and operational lifecycle required to bring Claude to DigiIT's workforce:
- Tenant Configuration & Security - Setting up secure administrative controls, data handling agreements, and retention policy settings aligned with DigiIT's IT and security standards.
- Identity & Access Management - Integrating Single Sign-On (SSO) and executing structured seat provisioning across business units.
- Governance & Enablement - Configuring admin roles, establishing policy setups, and training internal champions to support long-term adoption.
- Measurable Success - Tracking performance via clear metrics, including activated seats, weekly active usage (WAU) relative to the provisioned base, and the proliferation of Claude-supported workflows across teams.
The Phased Rollout Plan
To ensure a frictionless transition and mitigate security or adoption risks, Regeninnovation Labs executed a structured four-phase rollout methodology.
Environment Setup
Core technical alignment with DigiIT's IT and security stakeholders - finalising tenant configurations, SSO integration, admin roles, and data handling and retention parameters.
Pilot Cohort
Seats provisioned for internal champions to validate SSO functionality, permission hierarchies, and policy settings against live workflows.
Broad Provisioning
Role-based enablement sessions and an internal support channel, staffed by the newly trained champions, as access rolled out across remaining business units.
Go-Live Support & Handover
Usage monitored against activation targets, follow-up coaching for low-adoption teams, and a comprehensive administrative handover to DigiIT's internal IT department.
